A prop firm payout has two halves that traders tend to mix up: the moment the firm approves and releases the money, and the moment it lands in your bank or wallet. The first half is the firm's promise and the part you can hold it to. The second half belongs to the payment rail you chose. This guide walks through both at Dolvero, with the real numbers from the public payout ledger, the checks that run before a release, the methods and fees, and what to do so that nothing holds a payout up.
- You can request your first payout 14 days after your first trade on the funded account, then every 14 days. There is no waiting for a calendar date and no monthly cycle.
- Approved requests are released to the payment provider within 24 hours. The public ledger shows the actual average so far: 2.1 hours across 195 payouts, every one of them inside the window.
- Four ways to get paid: bank transfer, PayPal, Wise and USDT. Flat 1% processing fee, minimum request $100, no other charges.
- Profit split is 80% on the 2-Step and 1-Step, 90% with the Profit Split add-on. Instant Funding starts at 70% and rises to 80% on the second payout and 90% from the third.
- Your evaluation fee comes back in full with your second payout, on every challenge type.
- Identity verification runs once, before the first payout, and is the only step that depends on you rather than on Dolvero.

The payout cycle, step by step
The whole path from a profitable account to money in your hands has five steps. Only one of them needs anything from you beyond clicking the request.
- Trade the funded account. The clock for your first payout starts with your first trade on the funded account, not with the day it was issued. Fourteen days later the Request Payout button is live, and it stays on a 14-day rhythm after that.
- Request the amount. Choose the account, the amount (at least $100) and the method. The dashboard shows the maximum payable: your closed profit multiplied by your split, minus anything already paid out in this cycle.
- Automatic checks. Dolvero confirms that the account is in good standing, that the profit is closed profit, and on Instant Funding that the consistency and profitable-days conditions are met. This takes seconds, not days.
- Identity verification, once. Before the first payout ever leaves, you complete a short identity check in the dashboard. Every later payout skips this step.
- Release and settlement. Once approved, the payout is handed to the payment provider within 24 hours. From there, settlement depends on the rail: same day for USDT, one to three business days for a bank transfer.

What is checked before a release
Nothing in the payout review is subjective. Every check is a rule you can read on the rules page before you start, and every one of them is something the dashboard already shows you.
| Check | 2-Step and 1-Step | Instant Funding | What it looks like in practice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account in good standing | required | required | No open breach of daily loss, maximum drawdown or prohibited strategy rules. The account page shows the status in real time. |
| Closed profit | required | required | Only realised profit is payable. Floating profit on open positions is not part of the payable amount. |
| Profitable days | none | 10 days at 0.5%+ | On Instant Funding, ten days must each close at least 0.5% of starting balance in profit before the first payout. |
| Consistency rule | none | 15% best day | No single day may exceed 15% of the sum of all profitable days. The dashboard shows the current ratio. |
| Identity verification | once, before first payout | once, before first payout | Government ID and a selfie in the dashboard. Most checks complete within minutes; a manual review can take up to a business day. |
| Minimum amount | $100 | $100 | Below that the request is not created, so nothing is lost or delayed. |
A trader who passed two phases with five qualifying days in each has already shown the consistency a payout rule is meant to enforce. Adding a second consistency test at payout time would only delay money that was earned by the rules. Instant Funding skips the evaluation, which is why the payout gate does that job there instead.
Methods, fees and settlement
All four methods carry the same 1% processing fee and the same $100 minimum. The differences are in how fast the money settles after release and what details you need to have ready.
| Method | Settlement after release | What you need | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | usually same day | Wallet address and network | Fastest rail. Double-check the network before submitting; a wrong network cannot be recalled. |
| Wise | 1 to 2 business days | Wise account e-mail | Good option for traders who want a currency other than USD without bank conversion fees. |
| Bank transfer | 1 to 3 business days | Recipient name, IBAN, SWIFT, bank name | Intermediary banks may add their own charges on international transfers; Dolvero adds none. |
| PayPal | per PayPal | PayPal account e-mail | Convenient for smaller amounts; PayPal's own receiving fees apply on their side. |
The current average release time, the count of processed payouts and the share inside the 24-hour window are published live on the transparency page. The numbers in this article are the values shown there on 10 September 2026.
How the split works, with a worked example
Take a $100,000 2-Step funded account that closed $6,000 of profit in its first cycle.
| Line | Standard 80% | With Profit Split add-on, 90% |
|---|---|---|
| Closed profit | $6,000 | $6,000 |
| Your share | $4,800 | $5,400 |
| Processing fee, 1% | $48 | $54 |
| Released to you | $4,752 | $5,346 |
| Second payout | Evaluation fee refunded in full on top of the share | |
On Instant Funding the split climbs with each payout: 70% on the first, 80% on the second and 90% from the third onward, so a trader who stays consistent ends up at the same 90% as a 2-Step trader with the add-on.
How Dolvero compares on timing
The two numbers that matter are how soon the first payout can be requested and how fast an approved payout is released. Most firms publish the first and stay quiet on the second.
| Firm | First payout | Cycle after that | Release time published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dolvero | 14 days after first trade | Every 14 days | yes, live: 2.1 h average, 100% inside 24 h |
| FTMO | From day 14 after first trade | Any following day | not stated |
| FundedNext | After 21 days | Every 14 days | not stated |
| FundingPips | 7 days after first Master trade, at 60% split | 80% every 14 days, 100% every 30 days | not stated |
| The5ers | Every 14 days from funded | Every 14 days, $150 minimum | not stated |
| Alpha Capital | 14 days after first funded trade | Bi-weekly, $100 minimum | not stated |
| FXIFY | On demand after first closed trade and 5 trading days | Monthly, bi-weekly with add-on | not stated |
| Maven | Every 10 business days after first trade | $10,000 cap per 30 days | not stated |
| Goat Funded Trader | After 3 valid days, first two capped | Bi-weekly | not stated |
| Funded Trading Plus | 10 calendar days after account creation | Every 10 days | not stated |
Competitor values were checked on their official pages on 10 September 2026 and are linked in the sources of our rules comparison. A shorter first-payout window is not automatically better if it comes with a lower split or a cap on the first two payouts; the table shows those conditions where the firm states them.

What can delay a payout, and how to avoid it
Every delay we have seen in the ledger falls into one of a handful of avoidable categories. None of them is about the firm not wanting to pay.
| Cause | What happens | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| Identity check not completed | The request is held until verification passes | Complete the check as soon as the funded account is issued, not on payout day. |
| Open rule breach on the account | The request cannot be created while the account is in breach | Check the account status on the dashboard before requesting; the rules page lists every condition. |
| Consistency rule on Instant Funding | The request is refused until the best-day ratio is under 15% | Spread profit across days; the dashboard shows the ratio in real time. |
| Fewer than 10 profitable days on Instant Funding | The request is refused with the exact count shown | A profitable day is 0.5% or more of starting balance in closed profit. |
| Wrong payment details | The provider bounces the transfer and it has to be re-issued | Copy IBAN, SWIFT and wallet addresses from the source; check the USDT network twice. |
| Amount under $100 | The request is not created | Wait for the next cycle or combine cycles. |
Where Dolvero stands out
Most prop firms describe their payout process in a help-center article. Dolvero publishes the process and the outcome: every processed payout sits in a public ledger with a verification code, and the average release time on the transparency page is computed from that ledger, not typed in.
