The real difference between a 1-Step, a 2-Step and an Instant Funding account is not the profit target, it is what getting to your first payout costs. At Dolvero a $100,000 account is $549 as a 2-Step, $689 as a 1-Step and $749 as Instant Funding: list prices, one-time, refunded in full with your second payout. On top of the invoice sit three costs nobody advertises: the attempts you may need, the profit split you start on, and the drawdown type you have to trade under. This guide prices all of them.
- Per $1,000 of funded capital the 2-Step is the cheapest route at every account size: $5.49 per $1,000 at $100,000, against $6.89 on the 1-Step and $7.49 on Instant Funding.
- The 1-Step costs more and removes one phase, but it swaps a 10% static floor for a 6% trailing one. You pay for speed with room.
- Instant Funding has no evaluation at all, so the test moves to the payout gate: 10 profitable days of at least 0.5% and a best day under 15% of total profit.
- Fastest possible first payout: 14 days on Instant Funding, 19 days on the 1-Step, 24 days on the 2-Step, counted in qualifying days plus the 14-day payout cycle.
- One failed attempt doubles the entry cost and nothing else. A second attempt is a new challenge at the list price, so budget for it before you buy the bigger account.
- Whichever model you pick, the evaluation fee comes back in full with your second payout, on every challenge type, which is the part that makes the whole cost calculation temporary.

The three models side by side
Every parameter below comes from the rules page and the account configuration, verified on 10 September 2026. Read the table as three different trades you are making with the firm, not as three price points for the same product.

Crypto evaluations on Bybit follow the same two shapes, a 2-Step at 4% daily and 6% static and a 1-Step at 3% daily and 6% trailing, at the same list prices as their CFD equivalents, with an 80% split, no per-idea cap and no add-ons. The news and weekend restrictions do not exist there at all.
List prices, every size
These are the one-time evaluation fees in USD. Promotions run from time to time, so treat every figure here as the list price and the checkout as binding.

| $200,000 | $999 | $1,249 | not offered |
What that costs per $1,000 of funded capital
Fees do not scale linearly, so the headline price tells you very little on its own. Dividing by the account size does. Instant Funding has no $10,000 size, so the closest comparison at that level is its $15,000 account.
| Account size | 2-Step | 1-Step | Instant Funding | Cheapest route |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $9.90 | $12.90 | $9.93on the $15,000 account | 2-Step |
| $50,000 | $5.98 | $7.98 | $8.98 | 2-Step |
| $100,000 | $5.49 | $6.89 | $7.49 | 2-Step |
Two things fall out of this. The 2-Step is the cheapest way into every size, and larger accounts are cheaper per unit of capital in every model: the $100,000 2-Step costs 45% less per $1,000 than the $10,000 one. The lowest entry point on the whole price list is the promotional $5,000 Instant account at $12, which works out at $2.40 per $1,000, on WebTrader, with a 3% daily limit, a 5% trailing floor, a 70% split and the 15% consistency rule.

Add-ons: the second half of the price
Add-ons are percentages of the evaluation fee, applied at checkout. Four of them raise the fee and one lowers it. Priced on the $100,000 2-Step, the largest of the three columns in most baskets, they look like this.
| Add-on | Price | What it changes | Available on | On a $549 fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| News Trading | +15% | Removes the 30-minute window before and after high-impact events | All CFD models | +$82.35 |
| Weekend Holding | +15% | Lets positions run through Saturday and Sunday | All CFD models | +$82.35 |
| Profit Split Boost | +20% | Lifts the split from 80% to 90% once funded | 2-Step and 1-Step | +$109.80 |
| No Risk Limit | +20% | Removes the 2% cap per trade idea, daily and maximum limits unchanged | 2-Step and 1-Step | +$109.80 |
| Relaxed Risk | -10% | A discount in exchange for tighter limits: 4% daily and 8% maximum instead of 5% and 10% | 2-Step only | -$54.90 |
Instant Funding takes News Trading and Weekend Holding but not Profit Split Boost, because its split already climbs to 90% by the third payout, and not No Risk Limit, because it has no per-idea cap to remove. Crypto evaluations have no add-ons at all. News Trading is the most chosen add-on by share of orders that include one, which matches the enforcement data: it is the second most common breach, appearing in 15.8% of breached accounts.
On a $100,000 2-Step the boost costs $109.80 and adds 10 percentage points to your split. It breaks even at $1,098 of closed profit, roughly 1.1% of the account, and everything after that is pure gain. If you expect to reach a payout at all, it is the one add-on whose arithmetic settles itself. The same test on the $10,000 account: $19.80 of add-on against a break-even of $198 in closed profit.
Time to your first payout
Price is one axis, time is the other. Dolvero pays 14 days after the first trade on a funded account and every 14 days after that, so the only variable is how long the model makes you wait before that clock starts. No phase has a deadline, so the figures below are floors, not forecasts.
| Model | Before funding | Payout gate | Fastest first payout | Split on it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Step | Two phases, 10% then 5%, minimum 5 qualifying days each | None beyond the trading rules | 10 qualifying days + 14 days | 80%90% with the boost |
| 1-Step | One phase, 10%, minimum 5 trading days | None beyond the trading rules | 5 days + 14 days | 80%90% with the boost |
| Instant Funding | None, the account is live at purchase | 10 profitable days of at least 0.5% and a best day under 15% of total profit | 14 daysif 10 profitable days fit inside them | 70% |
Instant Funding is genuinely the fastest, by about ten days over the 2-Step, and it is also the model where the fastest path is the least likely one. Fitting ten profitable days into fourteen calendar days means being right on ten of your first fourteen while keeping the best of them under 15% of the total, on the tightest limits Dolvero offers. The 2-Step asks for more calendar time and less precision.
On the 2-Step a trading day only counts towards the five if it closes at least 0.5% of the starting balance in profit. A day you spend flat or slightly down does not move the counter. That is why the traders in our records who passed the 2-Step mostly did it in exactly the minimum five qualifying days per phase: the rule rewards taking profit rather than sitting in the market, and it makes the minimum realistic instead of theoretical.
The cost that is not on the invoice
The fee difference between a $100,000 2-Step and a $100,000 Instant account is $200. The difference in trading room is much larger and it is where the models actually diverge. On that account size the daily limit is $5,000 on the 2-Step, $3,000 on the 1-Step and $2,000 on Instant Funding: five losing trades of 1% inside a single day against three and against two. The starting floor is $90,000, $94,000 and $95,000, and only the 2-Step's floor stays where it is.
Static means profit becomes cushion: grow the 2-Step account to $108,000 and the floor is still $90,000, so you now have $18,000 of room. Trailing means the opposite: on the 1-Step, a run to $110,000 followed by a $6,000 pullback ends the account while it is still $4,000 in profit. That is not a hidden fee, it is a different bargain, and it is the reason the cheaper model is also the roomier one. The mechanics of all three floors are worked through in daily, maximum and trailing drawdown explained.

Worked example: budgeting for one failed attempt
Almost nobody buys exactly one challenge. The honest way to compare models is to price the outcome you are planning for: one attempt that does not work out, then one that does. A second attempt is a new challenge at the list price, so the arithmetic is multiplication.
| Size and model | One attempt | Two attempts | Refunded at the 2nd payout | Net cost after the refund |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 2-Step | $99 | $198 | -$99 | $99 |
| $10,000 1-Step | $129 | $258 | -$129 | $129 |
| $15,000 Instant | $149 | $298 | -$149 | $149 |
| $50,000 2-Step | $299 | $598 | -$299 | $299 |
| $50,000 1-Step | $399 | $798 | -$399 | $399 |
| $50,000 Instant | $449 | $898 | -$449 | $449 |
| $100,000 2-Step | $549 | $1,098 | -$549 | $549 |
| $100,000 1-Step | $689 | $1,378 | -$689 | $689 |
| $100,000 Instant | $749 | $1,498 | -$749 | $749 |
Now put a payout next to it. Take the $50,000 accounts, assume the same modest 4% of closed profit, $2,000, in each of the first two 14-day cycles, and apply the 1% processing fee that Dolvero charges on a payout request. The refund arrives with the second payout in full, on top of your share.
| $50,000, two attempts, $2,000 profit per cycle | 2-Step | 1-Step | Instant Funding |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paid in fees | $598 | $798 | $898 |
| 1st payout, your split | $1,60080% | $1,60080% | $1,40070% |
| 1st payout, after the 1% fee | $1,584 | $1,584 | $1,386 |
| 2nd payout, your split | $1,60080% | $1,60080% | $1,60080% |
| 2nd payout, after the 1% fee | $1,584 | $1,584 | $1,584 |
| Fee refund with the 2nd payout | +$299 | +$399 | +$449 |
| Received after two payouts | $3,467 | $3,567 | $3,419 |
| Position after fees | +$2,869 | +$2,769 | +$2,521 |
This is illustrative arithmetic on published parameters, not a projection: it assumes you reach two payouts, which is exactly what the drawdown limits decide. Note what it shows anyway. The refund is only one fee, the one attached to the account that got funded, so the failed attempt is the part you genuinely spend. And the third payout onwards is where Instant Funding closes the gap, because from then on it pays 90% while a 2-Step without the boost stays at 80%. Adding Profit Split Boost to the successful 2-Step attempt turns $598 into $658 in fees and lifts both payouts to $1,800 before the processing fee.
Which model fits your trading style
Ignore the price for a moment and start from the constraint your method actually runs into. Every one of these is a rule you can read on the rules page before you buy.
| Style | The constraint that decides it | Best fit | Add-on worth pricing in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scalper | Many small closed trades, high sensitivity to the daily loss limit, easy to accumulate qualifying days | 2-Step5% daily is the widest of the three | No Risk Limit if size, not frequency, is your edge |
| Swing | Positions held overnight and over weekends, open profit that breathes before it is banked | 2-Stepa static floor does not punish giving back open profit | Weekend Holding at +15%, otherwise every position closes before the Friday close |
| News | The 30-minute window around high-impact events, and profit that arrives in a few large days | 2-Step or 1-StepInstant Funding's 15% best-day rule fights lumpy profit | News Trading at +15%, on CFD; crypto evaluations are unrestricted already |
| Systematic | Expert Advisor approval, the 2% cap per idea, and quiet periods when the system does not trade | 2-Step or 1-Stepno inactivity rule and no time limit on either | No Risk Limit at +20% if the system sizes above 2% per idea |
Expert Advisors are allowed on MT5 with pre-approval, a review that takes 24 to 48 hours, and run without approval on crypto evaluations. The fourth row hides the detail traders discover late: Instant Funding's inactivity rule is measured as 7 times 24 hours from the exact moment of your last activity, and closing a position resets it, which suits a system that waits weeks for a setup badly.
- Start from your worst day, not your best. Take the largest single-day loss in your last hundred trades as a percentage. If it is above 2%, Instant Funding will end the account before your method has a chance to work.
- Check whether your profit is lumpy. Add your best day and divide it by your total profit over the same period. Above 15% and the Instant payout gate is a real obstacle; on the 2-Step and 1-Step there is no consistency rule at all.
- Price the add-ons you cannot trade without. A news method without the News Trading add-on and a swing method without Weekend Holding are not cheaper, they are simply going to breach.
- Budget two attempts at the size you want. If two 2-Step attempts at $100,000 are outside the budget, two attempts at $50,000 are the better plan than one at $100,000.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 1-Step or a 2-Step challenge cheaper?
The 2-Step is cheaper at every size Dolvero offers both. At $10,000 it is $99 against $129, at $50,000 $299 against $399, and at $100,000 $549 against $689. The 1-Step charges the difference for removing a phase, and it applies a 6% trailing drawdown instead of the 2-Step's 10% static one.
Is instant funding worth it compared to an evaluation?
It is worth it if your priority is the fastest possible payout and your daily risk is genuinely below 2%. Instant Funding skips the evaluation entirely and can pay out 14 days after your first trade, but it starts at a 70% split, applies a 5% trailing floor and a 15% best-day rule, and requires 10 profitable days of at least 0.5% before the first payout. If your profit arrives in a few large days, an evaluation model is the better fit.
What is the cheapest way to get a funded account at Dolvero?
Per $1,000 of funded capital, the 2-Step is cheapest at every size, from $9.90 per $1,000 at $10,000 down to $5.49 per $1,000 at $100,000. In absolute terms the lowest entry point on the price list is the promotional $5,000 Instant Funding account at $12, available on WebTrader and limited to 1,000 accounts.
Do I get the challenge fee back?
Yes. The full evaluation fee is refunded with your second payout, on every challenge type, in addition to your profit share. It is refunded once, for the challenge that produced the funded account, so a failed attempt stays a cost.
How long does each model take to reach a first payout?
Counting minimums: the 2-Step needs five qualifying days in each phase plus 14 days on the funded account, so 24 days at the earliest. The 1-Step needs five qualifying days plus 14, so 19 days. Instant Funding needs 14 days from the first trade, provided ten profitable days fit inside them. No phase has a deadline, so these are floors rather than expectations.
Can I upgrade the split or lift a rule after buying?
Add-ons are chosen at checkout and priced as a percentage of the evaluation fee: News Trading and Weekend Holding at +15%, Profit Split Boost and No Risk Limit at +20%, and Relaxed Risk as a 10% discount in exchange for tighter 4% daily and 8% maximum limits. On Instant Funding the split rises on its own, to 80% at the second payout and 90% from the third.
