Dolvero

How to choose a prop firm that will actually pay you.

There are hundreds of prop firms and most promise the same thing. The difference is what they can prove: published payouts, rules signed upfront and reviews that cannot be deleted. Here is a checklist, with Dolvero’s answers.

Checklist

7 things to check at a prop firm before you buy.

Can you verify that it pays?

Certificate photos on social media are not enough. Look for a list of payouts with amount, method and date that the firm cannot edit after the fact.

How Dolvero does it

Every payout is on a public ledger. 325 payouts so far, processed in 1.9 h on average.

Can you read the rules before buying?

The rules must be public and complete before you pay. Beware of “we reserve the right” wording without concrete numbers.

How Dolvero does it

The full rules are public and you sign them before your first trade. Your version is stored with a fingerprint.

What is the drawdown and what is it measured on?

A static limit is measured from the starting balance. A trailing one follows the account’s high and is stricter. Find out whether it uses the balance or also open positions.

How Dolvero does it

2-Step: 10 % static. 1-Step: 6 % trailing. Instant: 5 % trailing. Every limit is shown in money in the dashboard.

Is there a time limit or a minimum number of days?

A deadline pushes you into risky trading at the end. A minimum number of days delays your payout.

How Dolvero does it

No time limit, and since 1 Nov 2026 no minimum trading days in evaluations.

How and when does it pay?

Check the payout cycle, the minimum, the methods and the fees. Ideally also how long a payout really takes.

How Dolvero does it

Every 14 days (Perps daily), by USDT, PayPal, Wise, Rise or bank wire. A 24-hour target, with a 10 % bonus if we miss it.

How does it judge banned strategies?

Bans on hedging, martingale or copy trading are normal. What matters is whether a breach is proven with a specific trade or just called a “risk team decision”.

How Dolvero does it

Every breach has a record of the trade, the time and the numbers. In a dispute you get the full record, including the signed agreement.

Are the reviews verified?

Anyone can write a review, and a firm can have reviews removed. Look for reviews tied to a real purchase.

How Dolvero does it

On dolvero.com/trust only paying customers write, every review is signed and nobody can delete it.

Warning signs

When to walk away from a prop firm.

The costliest mistake is not the wrong account size, it is a firm that never pays. You usually spot them by what they do not publish: a list of payouts, the full rules, or the concrete reason an account was ended.

Be careful with rules that only appear after you buy, a “consistency” rule with no number, monthly payouts with a long review, and reviews that disappear. And with offers that promise income without risk: in prop trading you always risk at least the fee.

Prop firms: frequent questions.

The answers come from the rules you sign before your first trade. The exact figures are in the full rulebook.

A firm that gives traders an account to trade and pays them a share of the result. With online prop firms such as Dolvero you pay a fee for an evaluation or an instant account, and the accounts are simulated.

It depends on how you trade. If you need room, a 10 % static drawdown helps; if you want speed, a single target. Either way, verify payouts and rules. We compared Dolvero with 22 firms, line by line.

By what it can prove: a public payout list, complete rules before purchase, a real company with an address, and reviews tied to purchases. Dolvero is operated by DKZ Information Technology Services L.L.C in Dubai, and the team is in Prague.

Yes. We keep no list of banned countries. Before your first payout you verify your identity once.

At Dolvero, yes. Only coordinated trading of several accounts against each other and copying other people’s trades are banned.

With the second payout from that account, in full.
