What is a prop trading evaluation?
An evaluation is a paid assessment where you prove your trading skill. Hit the profit target while staying inside the drawdown limits and you become a Dolvero funded trader - trading a fully simulated account with performance-based payouts backed by us. Dolvero may independently replicate selected trading activity on live markets.
Is there a time limit to pass the evaluation?
No. There is no time limit on any Dolvero evaluation - you trade at your own pace. The only requirements are a 5-day minimum trading period and staying inside the drawdown rules. Quality trading over rushed decisions.
How fast are payouts and how do they work?
Your first payout is available 14 days after going funded, then every 14 days after that. Once approved, your payout is released to the payment provider within 24 hours; settlement time depends on the chosen payment method.
Can I scale my funded account?
Yes. After three consecutive profitable months your account is scaled by 25%, up to $200K. Top performers are then invited to our institutional A-book track with direct market access and pricing.
Are EAs, news trading, and weekend holding allowed?
Expert Advisors are allowed on CFD challenges with pre-approval (24-48h review). On Crypto challenges, all bots are freely permitted without approval. News trading is fully allowed on Crypto; on CFD it is restricted within ±30 minutes of high-impact events. Weekend holding is available as a CFD add-on (+15%); Crypto markets trade 24/7 with no restrictions.
Is the evaluation fee really refundable?
Yes. Your evaluation fee is fully refunded with your second funded payout. This applies to all evaluation programs - CFD and Crypto - and to Instant Funding.
Do you offer futures trading challenges?
Yes. Our CME Futures challenges let you trade indices (ES, NQ, YM, RTY plus micros), commodities (Crude, Gold, Silver, Nat Gas plus micros), bonds and FX on live market data. Three programs - DolveroPro, DolveroFlex and DolveroDirect - a one-time fee, no monthly payments, a 90/10 profit split and payouts on demand.
What are the futures rules?
Futures use an end-of-day trailing max loss that moves up with your balance and locks at starting balance + $100. DolveroPro and DolveroDirect add a daily loss limit that simply locks the account until the next session (it is not a breach); DolveroFlex has none. Payout conditions include a consistency rule (40% funded on Pro, 50% in the Flex evaluation, 20% on Direct) and, on Direct, a 5-day minimum before the first payout. Every rule is enforced automatically from your real trades.
Which futures contracts can I trade?
You trade the continuous front-month contract, shown as NQ1!, ES1!, GC1! and so on. You do not pick a specific expiry month - the platform automatically holds the current front-month and rolls to the next contract on its own. Historical data is a continuous series built from the most liquid contract each day and is not back-adjusted.
How does the EOD trailing max loss work?
The breach level is your highest end-of-day balance minus the max loss, trailing up only on the daily close, and it locks at your starting balance + $100. Example on a $25,000 account with a $1,000 max loss: at an EOD balance of $25,050 the breach sits at $24,050, at $25,300 it is $24,300, and once your EOD balance reaches $26,100 it locks permanently at $25,100.
Are there commissions, reset fees or activation fees?
No commissions or fees are deducted from your PnL, and there is no funded activation fee (the funded account is created automatically and free on passing). Micro contracts count as a fraction of a standard contract, news trading is allowed and positions may be held overnight; the trading day follows CME and rolls over at 6:00 PM ET.
Is the free FUTURES50 account a full evaluation?
The free futures account from the FUTURES50 promo is a competition (leaderboard) DolveroPro 50K account. Hitting its profit target does not create a funded account - a live 150K funded account goes to the top 3 traders on the monthly leaderboard.
Do you offer prediction market challenges?
Yes. Prediction challenges are a separate product where you trade real prediction markets (live Polymarket and Kalshi data) - buying and selling YES/NO shares on event outcomes at prices between $0 and $1. Accounts range from $2,000 to $100,000 and you trade on a simulated account with real prices.
What are the prediction market rules?
Profit target 10% of the balance, maximum drawdown 5%, maximum risk per question 3% and maximum margin per single market 30%. For example on a $10,000 account: target $1,000, max drawdown $500, max per question $300, max margin per market $3,000.
Are there fees on prediction trades?
Yes, like on real prediction exchanges we apply a spread (1.5% of the price per side, minimum 0.5 cent) and a Kalshi-style fee (0.05 x shares x price x (1 - price) per side) on both entry and exit - roughly a 9% round-trip cost at a 50-cent price.
What are the exact rules for the MT5 (forex) programs?
